PURPOSE:To cut the gates of a plurality of injection molded preforms at the same position in such a state that the preforms are arranged properly by the insertion of rods. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of injection molded preforms 4 are transferred to the position above a gate cutter 6 while the mouth parts thereof are held and rods 15 having the same dimensions are inserted in the preforms and the inner bottom parts of the preforms are pressed by the rods 15 to be arranged in their height positions with respect to cutters 9 and, thereafter, the cutters 9 are raised to simultaneously cut the gates of the preforms 4.
