PURPOSE:To facilitate washing-out of slime, by a method wherein a water feed rod, provided at its forward end with a piston, is inserted into a strainer casing, and the rod is turned and reciprocated as water is fed through the forward end of the rod. CONSTITUTION:When a water feed rod 2 is inserted into a strainer casing 1 and through driving of a water feed pump 4, the rod 2 is spun and horizontally reciprocated as water is fed through the forward end of the rod 2, a change in a pressure is produced within the portion, extending from a piston to the forward end, of the casing 1 due to a suction pressure and a feed pressure, resulting in the occurrence of a fluctuation in the crust of the earth. This causes washing out of grass roots, refuse, sludge, lodged in or adhered to a strainer hole, and causes crose particle, such as gravel, sand, to be collected to the outer surface of the casing 1 to form a filter layer 9. |
