The invention relates to a laundry drying machine equipped with a silencer.
<??>The outflow of the drying air caused by at least one fan (19) is expelled by passing through a duct (10), after having absorbed the moisture from the laundry to be dried, the said duct, or parts of the latter, being acoustically insulated. A duct preferably having a plurality of orifices in its wall, the said duct, moreover, being coated with a sound-absorbing material (7) and closed by a preferably rigid casing (18). In particular, only the end part (15) of the said duct (10) is acoustically insulated.
