A signal lamp with flashes of light comprising a base (10) having a front face (15), a light source (20) held on the front face of the base and intended for being linked to a source of electric current, a wall (30) for closing the front face of the base, the said wall having a wall part, generally coloured, transmitting the light emitted by the light source when the latter is supplied with electric current. The wall part comprises a photoluminescent accumulator means (40) for suppressing the phenomenon of "black hole" between two flashes. <IMAGE>
