PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material excellent in image preservability by admixing a thermal recording material composed of an aromatic isocyanate compound and an imino compound with a fluoran compound thereby improving thermal response (sensitivity) while improving optical discoloration of the texture. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material composed of an aromatic isocyanate compound and an imino compound having at least one >C=N group which develops color through thermal reaction is admixed with a fluoran compound shown by formula 1 (where, R1, R2 represent alkyl group or alicyclic group, R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, and PHI1, PHI2 represent alkyl groups) and a fluoran compound shown by formula II (where, R4, R5 represent alkyl group or alicyclic group, R6, R7 represent hydrogen atoms or lower alkyl groups, and PHI3 represents an allyl group) thus improving thermal response and producing a thermal recording material excellent in image preservability. |
