<p>PURPOSE:To compress a circuit scale by detecting the standstill level of an image in five steps, and restoring a video signal by performing the mixing processing of current frame data with preceding frame data in five steps corresponding to the standstill level of the image. CONSTITUTION:The current frame data of a luminance signal of MUSE converted to a digital signal is inputted to a field interpolation circuit 33, and in-field interpolation is performed on it at the circuit 33, and it is inputted to an inter-frame interpolation and mixing circuit 34. Meanwhile, the preceding frame data of the luminance signal of MUSE converted to the digital signal via an input terminal 6 and a detection signal detecting the standstill level in five steps at a control signal detection circuit 10 are inputted to the circuit 34. The current frame data and the preceding frame data are mixed based on the detection signal detecting the standstill level in five steps, and a result is outputted from the circuit 34. Thereby, the circuit can be simplified, and a cost can be reduced.</p> |
