HIGH SPEED ATM CELL SYNCHRONOUS EXCHANGER HAVING SWITCHING MEMORY

摘要

PURPOSE: To select a route to be exchanged by cell unit in realtime when a high speed ATM cell is transmitted. CONSTITUTION: When an ATM optical signal is converted into an electric signal by an ATM cell circuit 1 and a signal reporting whether an address is effective or not reaches from the ATM cell input circuit 1 to a routing control circuit 2, transmission is executed to a switching information table 4 so as to control a switching matrix in the applying route based on control information. The effective cell from the routing control circuit 2 is transmitted to a cell gate circuit 3, a switching matrix circuit 5 receives the cell from the cell gate circuit 3 and prescribed connection is executed based on switch control information.
