PURPOSE:To enable an easy detection of a radioactive substance with an inexpensive equipment by employing a sheet-shaped radiation measuring device integrating a liquid retaining member and a storing phosphorescent member containing a stimulating phosphorescent substance in a lamination. CONSTITUTION:A liquid sample 4 is dropped on the surface of a liquid retaining member of a sheet-shaped radiation measuring device 1 comprising a storing phosphorescent member containing a stimulating phosphorescent substance and a liquid retaining member provided thereon. Then, a radiation energy released from a radioactive substance in a sample 4 is absorbed and stored into a phosphorescent layer of the measuring device 1 at a radiation energy storage section 5. Then, at a stored energy reading section 6, radioactivity in the sample 4 is measured continuously in the combination of a light source 7, a photo detector 9, an amplifier 10 and a recorder 11. |
