PURPOSE:To obtain the ferromagnetic metal thin film type magnetic recording medium superior in durability and resistance to corrosion, by providing a specific resin protective film on the ferromagnetic metal thin film including cobalt. CONSTITUTION:Co-Fe, Co-Ni, and magnetic materials of these alloys including P are formed on the substance such as a plastic film by adhesion by vacuum vapor- deposition, ion plating, sputtering, plating, and so on, and the organic solvent solution of methyl isobutyl ketone of the acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, toluene, and so on is applied and dried with 0.5mum dried thickness thereby forming a protective film. |
