PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of a copying machine by switching a 1st mode and a 2nd mode in accordance with circumstances. CONSTITUTION:This machine is constituted so that the 1st mode(ADF mode) in which the copying processing of a next page is performed after the copying of the same page is performed by the aimed number of sheets and the 2nd mode(RDH mode) in which respective pages are copied in order can be automatically selected. Namely, a mode selection means is incorporated in the proper spot of a device main body 1, and both modes of ADF and RDH can be selected according to the set number of sheets.
