<p>The present invention relates to a device, on a ski (3), for supporting the front part of the sole (2) of a boot which is moved laterally during a release of a safety binding (4) holding the front of the boot on the ski, including a base plate (7) fastened to the ski, a support plate (6) mounted so as to be movable transversely on this base plate (7), means for retaining the movable support plate (6) in the longitudinal direction, while still permitting the transverse movement of this support plate (6), and a spring (17, 54) for returning the movable support plate into a central position on the base plate. This device is characterised in that the spring (17, 54) is mounted so as to constitute an element for retaining the movable support plate (6) on the fixed base plate (7) against any movement of the whole movable support plate (6) in a direction perpendicular to the ski (3). <IMAGE></p> |
