PURPOSE:To automatically draw a map where an automobile is present on a display screen to a minimum scale or its corresponding scale. CONSTITUTION:Receivable frequencies of a television, an FM, and an AM band, etc., are registered by areas in an area frequency storage part 15b-1 and broadcasting station attribute data including broadcasting frequencies, broadcasting frequencies, and output radio wave intensity by broadcasting stations are registered in a broadcasting station attribute storage part 15b-2; and all receivable frequencies and received radio wave intensity of at least one band are found and an area corresponding to the found receivable frequency group is found by using the registered data. Then the distances from the broadcasting station to the automobile position is found from the attribute data on the respective receivable broadcasting stations and the received radio wave intensity of the broadcasting stations and the automobile position is found from the distances from the respective receivable broadcasting stations to the automobile position to draw the map including the position. |
