The invention relates to systems involving the movement and operation of the optoelectronic equipment and of the visor. The optoelectronic equipment comprises an image generating component positioned on the side of the helmet and a combiner (combining device) (12) which conveys the image in front of one eye. The combiner (12) and the visor (27) can be moved between a use position and a rest position so as to enable the helmet to be put on and removed. A mechanical connection is provided so that the movements of the combiner (12) and the visor (27) are made interdependent, so that they can be operated simultaneously by a single action of the wearer. <IMAGE>
