MANUFACTURE OF COATING FILM FOR FILM CAPACITOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and the electric characteristics of a film capacitor, by forming a coating film having a coating dielectric layer of a very long length. CONSTITUTION:A release layer composed of, e.g. silane coupling agent having perfluoroalkyl group is formed on the inner wall surfaces of trenches formed on a coating roller for dielectric solution. Thereby the accumulation of dielectric solution in the trenches is prevented, and a belt type coating dielectric layer of continuous length is highly precisely formed on a metallized film. The productivity and the electric characteristics of a metal film capacitor can be improved by using said continuous length film.
