PURPOSE:To ensure break endurance strong enough by arranging a resistor inside an elastic body near a position at which respective neutral surfaces do not coincide to allow use with a small curvature. CONSTITUTION:A base member 21 is made of material which is rigid relatively so that a neutral surface E-E enters a member 21 with respect to bidirectional bending. A metal resistor 25 as strain sensor is bonded 24 on the member 21. A thickness L11 of the member 21 is 12mum and thicknesses L14 and 15 of a bonded layer 24 and the resistor 25 are 5mum and 2mum respectively. The position of the neutral surface E-E of a bonding sensor 28 made up of the member 21, bonded layers 22, 23 and 24 and upper and lower members 27 and 26 arranged in lamination is determined by the Young's modulus and thickness of the respective parts. In this case, a distance between the neutral surface E-E and the resistor 25 is very small to be 12.5mum to reduce a distortion generated in the sensor 28. This reduces fatigue of the resistor 25 thereby enabling use with a smaller curvature. |
