PURPOSE: To provide a flat-bed printing machine in which a printing form with hydrophobic and hydrophilic area can be produced or converted electrochemically. CONSTITUTION: The printing machine comprises a fluid applicator 56 for applying a hydrophobic fluid onto the full surface 45 of a printing form 32 in order to form a printing plate, and a control device 41 for controlling the current conduction arrangement 51 for forming appropriate current paths and for electrochemically removing the hydrophobic fluid area-by-area in accordance with the hydrophilic area required for the image to be printed. |
