摘要

PURPOSE: To reduce dye stain in a photographic material contg. flat platy silver halide grains by incorporating a pigment into a silver halide emulsion layer and/or other hydrophilic layer. CONSTITUTION: This silver halide photographic material has at least one silver halide photosensitive emulsion layer on at least one side of the substrate, the emulsion layer has <=0.3μm thickness and contains flat platy silver halicle grains accounting for at least 50% of the total projection area of all grains and a blue pigment having its max. absorption at 570-630nm wavelength exists in the emulsion layer and/or other hydrophilic layer.
