The invention relates to a wood packaging manufacturing method, particularly for fruit and vegetables and the packaging obtained by implementing the said method. The method according to the invention consists a) in using, as side (1), top (2) or bottom (3) elements, on which printed (advertising and technical) information (6) relating to the product which the packaging in question is to contain will be affixed, panels produced from bonded and compressed wood fibres; b) in affixing, by means of an automatic pasting device, onto the elements in question, sheets, particularly of paper (5), previously printed with the said information, particularly using the four-colour process; c) in joining together, particularly by stapling, the said elements with those, made from non-marked conventional wood, which complement the preceding ones, associated with wooden battens (4) placed at the four corners of the packaging. <IMAGE>
