PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for utilizing a pulse of neutron for real time neutron radiography of a moving object. CONSTITUTION: The neutron radiographic apparatus comprises a trigger nuclear reactor 12 capable of selectively generating a neutron pulse, and each pulse has a predetermined peak power to meet the object attaining time of a normal realtime video imaging unit 18 and predetermined continuous time. The moving unit 14 moves a specific object 16 to be tested to position the selected part of the object in a sequential pulse passage. The object changes the strength of the passing neutron according to the composition, object or any non-similarity of the state. To separately record the changes of the strengths of the neutrons for the pulses, an imaging unit 18 passes the object to be disposed to receive the changed neutron beam pulse to form the image indicating the change of the strength. |
