<p>PURPOSE:To offer a Joining method of pipes and a joint for pipes to surely and firmly join pipes to each other, to improve the efficiency of joining operation and to improve the airtightness and watertightness of a joined part. CONSTITUTION:An expanding piece body B having a pair of expanding inclined parts 2 whose diameter increases gradually from the end side toward the central side is incorporated in a pipe A for the joint, the tip parts of a pair of pipes P are inserted forcedly from both ends of the joint pipe A, the tip parts of the pipes P are brought into contact with the expanding inclined parts 2, further, the tip parts of the pipes P are expanded in diameter and deformed gradually by the expanding inclined parts 2, this diameter expanded and deformed part is made larger than the smallest inner diameter of the joint pipe A and the pipes P are joined to each other.</p> |
