METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING ALIGNMENT OF CONTROL DATA

PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for correcting a control data array applicable to a binary picture or mask for removing a pin hole. CONSTITUTION: A binary data array is corrected by scanning an array having windows in a boundary 22 form surrounding a central area 21. When the boundary values 22 are all the same, a previously defined value is set for the central area picture element 21. The scanning is operated through the independent section of the boundary 22, and the result value from the section test is connected for confirming what difference is obtained from the previously defined value. A specific value representing the picture element 21 group in each section of the boundary 22 is stored for use in the processing.
