The valve has a housing (1) with inlets and outlets and inserted into fitments. The housing contains a disc (3) with at least one through-hole (12) across the lengthwise axis, as a valve seating. A shut-off device in the form of a rotary disc (4) with at least one through-hole is axially mounted on the valve seating. The rotary disc is held in a fixed position by a carrier (2) axially supported in the housing. The axially immovable disc is held on a flange (13) in the housing. Both discs (3,4) have a through-hole (30,40) near their central axis (10) and forming a duct to a counter-pressure chamber (20). ADVANTAGE - The valve has two discs positioned with a relatively low min. pressure applied so that in normal usage only little force is required for operating the valve.
