RADIAL FOLLOW-UP MECHANISM OF SLIDER BLOCK OF SCROLL COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: To reduce edge loading generated between a rotary scroll of the scroll compressor and a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION: A slider block 20 radial follow-up mechanism includes a long and narrow recessed part 30-1 on the edge of an eccentric shaft 30 and the slider block 20 includes an eccentric hole 20-1 arranged inside the recessed part 30-1 and accepting a boss 12-2 of a rotary scroll 12. This hole 20-1 integrally formed with the slider block 20 collectively forms eccentric bearings by a plural number of separated pads. The slider block 20 rotates together with the eccentric shaft 30 with respect to the rotary scroll 12 boss 12-2 which is accepted in the hole 20-1. The slider block 20 is allowed to move by 0.01 to 0.1 inch order inside the recessed part 30-1 and the boss 12-2 is allowed to make an inclined motion by the eccentric bearings without accompanying the movement of the other members thereby reduces edge loading.
