ACCESS CONTROLLING METHOD FOR ACCUMULATED DOCUMENT

PURPOSE: To provide an improved access managing method for ensuring continuous access to a document in a data processing system by a user, and owning access to the document deleted by the owner of the document by the user. CONSTITUTION: A special access authority for limiting an action to be executed to a document is applied to a user. The user who owns the access authority to the document can designate the document as the document to be reserved, and the document is reserved when the user designates the document as the document to be reserved against the try of the deletion of the document by the owner of the document. The change of the access authority by the user to document which brings the rejection of the access generates the automatic preparation of the copy of the document with the original access authority of the user. The user whose access authority to the document is permitted once can designate the document as the document to be reserved, and the continuous access to the document can be ensured regardless of the try of the deletion of the document or the change of the access authority of the user.
