PURPOSE:To detect an actual rotating speed difference between right and left wheels, compute an ideal rotating speed difference between the right and left wheels in accordance with the actual steering angle and speed of a vehicle and control a differential limit mechanism to approach the actual rotating speed difference to the ideal rotating speed difference so that the steering operation of a driver can be reflected to torque distribution control. CONSTITUTION:The differential condition between right and left wheels of a vehicle is limited by a differential limit mechanism 23. On the other hand, an actual rotating speed difference between the right and left wheels in turning is detected by an actual rotating speed difference detecting means 500. An ideal rotating speed difference between the right and left wheels in turning is set by an ideal rotating speed difference setting means 510. In addition, to approach the actual rotating speed difference to the ideal rotating speed difference, depending on a difference between the actual rotating speed difference and the ideal rotating speed difference, the differential limit mechanism 23 is controlled by a differential limit mechanism control means 420. Then, the ideal rotating speed difference is computed by the ideal rotating speed difference setting means 510 in accordance with the actual steering angle and speed of a vehicle.
