PURPOSE: To eliminate a thermal expansion difference between an inner and an outer laces made of the compound material mainly composed of ceramic, a rolling element and a support housing made of metal while matching them for use in the high temperature operating environment. CONSTITUTION: A support bearing assembly as a bearing unit 14 is formed of an inner and an outer laces 18, 20 made of the compound material mainly composed of ceramic, and a rolling element 22. A support housing 28 is made of metal. They have a different thermal expansion. Two opposite pairs of cylindrical cages 42, 44, 46, 48 support the bearing unit 14. The cages 42, 44, 46, 48 have a flange means at one end thereof and support arms extended from the flange to an opposite side position are arranged in the circumferential direction with a space, and the opposite end of the cages is formed with a support arm having the finger structure to be fitted in the lace members 18, 29, and a space between the support arms fixes a slot in the cage main body. With this structure, flexibility and constraint are showed in the radial direction, and the constraint is showed in the axial direction. |
