PURPOSE: To upgrade color developing of red and yellow colors by using a specific azo dye. CONSTITUTION: An azo dye represented by a formula I is used, wherein X is represented by a formula II or III, wherein R is a hydrogen, 1-6C alkyl group or 4-4C alkyl 1-2C alkoxy as substituentes, or a phenyl group which may contain chlorine, bromine or a cyano, R is a hydrogen, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or a group representing a chlorine or bromine, K is a radical of a coupling component (H-K) of aniline, aminonaphthalene, pyrazole, diaminopyridine, hydroxypyridone or tetrahydroquinoline series. Thus, good red and yellow color developing can be executed in a thermal transfer printing near a required characteristic profile. |
