<p>A blank layout method for designing a high-yield product layout when a glass plate cutting machine cuts a rectangular blank glass plate into a plurality of small rectangular plates. When assigning a glass plate product to the unused space of a blank glass plate, a plurality of candidate layouts are proposed and a similar procedure is recurrently repeated on each of remaining spaces. After comparing final yield rates with each other when further layouts of products become impossible, a proposed layout with the highest yield rate is selected.</p> |
