<p>Disclosed is a pressure-compensated cartridge valve with a housing (1, 2) in which a spindle (10) is mounted axially, one end of the spindle having a poppet (12) whose obturating surface (13) lies against a circular shoulder (15) on the inside wall of the housing when the valve is in the closed position. An annular space (20) between the spindle (10) and the housing, together with a bore (21), forms a pressure delivery connection on one side of the circular shoulder. The space (13) at the open end of the bore (9) in the housing holding the spindle (10) forms another pressure delivery connection on the other side of the circular shoulder. A pressure-equalization bore (23) links the space (19) at the open end of the housing bore with a counter pressure space (24) in the housing (1, 2), the counter pressure space surrounding the spindle end remote from the poppet (12). The pressure-equalization bore (23) runs inside the wall of the housing (1, 2), and inside the spindle (10) is a channel (36) linking the space (19) at the open end of the housing bore with the annular space (20), the inlet (37) to the channel being closed off from the space (19) at the open end of the housing bore by a spring-biased obturator ball (45, 40) or cone (40).</p> |
