PURPOSE:To stably hold a center stand by providing elastic bodies at ground positions of the center stand for a scooter type vehicle, and protruding lower ends of the elastic bodies downward from the ground plane of the center stand so as to be flexed by the weight of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Elastic bodies 26 made of rubber and the like are provided at ground positions of a center stand 10. Lower end sections 28a of the elastic bodies 26 are protruded from the lower face of the ground plane of the center stand 10 by the length to be flexed by the weight of a vehicle. When the center stand 10 is erected to support the vehicle, the lower end sections 28a of the elastic bodies 26 are flexed. When the vibration due to the rotation of an engine is transmitted to the center stand 10 and the lower end of the center stand 10 taps the ground, the elastic bodies 26 absorb it. Movement is prevented by the friction of the elastic bodies 26. |
