PURPOSE: To provide an error recovering subsystem which can be easily changed to be used for arbitrary monitored physical hardware. CONSTITUTION: An intra data block used for error recovery in a library is an error information block prepared by a section which meets the error of a function code, and a demand block which starts the operation of such code. In the left side column of the block, offset from the head of the beginning block in a specific filed in the block is indicated by bytes. In the right side column of the block, the size of the field is indicated. Six fields are present in an error information block of 12 bytes, and error information block identifier, function, position, code, type, demand block pointer are provided. A demand block of 15 bytes includes eight fields, and demand block name, device address, command, return code, sense key, additional sense modifier, SCSI condition, and CMD condition are provided. |
