<p>PURPOSE:To provide a ceramic filter having high hot bending strength and suitable for filtering molten high purity aluminum, etc., having high molten metal temp. CONSTITUTION:The filter is constituted by blending 3-25 pts.wt. of binding material with 100 pts.wt. of electrofused alumina grains. Further, this binding material has a composition consisting of, by weight, 2-6% SiO2, 1-10% MgO, 1-8% TiO2, and the balance Al2O3.</p> |
