The arrangement for holding single sheets in a stacking magazine has lateral guides movable in common with a central guide on an axle (10) and on a slot guide wet (44) formed on a base plate (33). Each guide part has setting bridges mounted on the axle. Supporting floors are independently, pivotable by operating elements and lockable in their base positions by sprung tongues. Each supporting floor is supported by a cap fixed into the lateral guides. USE/ADVANTAGE - Favourable mounting of the guides and their individual elements. Single magazine printer paper feed mechanism is manufactured with low cost guide arrangement and reliable sheet separation is achieved.
