PURPOSE: To provide an all season type tire tread having a uniform handling response characteristic even when the steering conditions of a vehicle are sharply changed and having an excellent grip on a high-friction road surface and on a low-friction road surface. CONSTITUTION: This tire tread is provided with a rib 12 and blocks 21, 22, 23, 24 having various stiffness characteristics. The stiffness characteristics are functions of different radial heights of the blocks and the rib and the density of narrow slots in the blocks and the rib. |
