PURPOSE: To easily transfer a decoration onto a base material by a rational procedure by using an immediately usable material in a method for transferring the decoration onto the material. CONSTITUTION: The method for transferring a decoration onto a base material comprises the steps of easily releasing an adhesive layer 9 from it on a support material 8, attaching the adhesive layer to a second open surface of a decoration layer 5 separate remotely from the film 1 by at least one of heat and pressure applied from the material 8, separating the material 8 from the layer 9, fixing the layer 5 disposed on the film 1 by at least one of the heat and the pressure by using the adhesive layer to a surface of the material to be decorated, and separating the film 1 from the layer 5. |
