A working piston (2) of Al, Cu or Fe revolving in an endless circular nonmagnetic tube (1) serves as the secondary part of a tubular linear motor (3). The working liq. or gas enters and leaves through ports (4, 5) flanking the slider (6) of a linear generator (8) activated by a sensor (7) of passage of the piston (2). Loss of fluid through the inlet port (4) is prevent by closure of valves (10, 11). ADVANTAGE - Mechanical complexity is reduced and efficiency increased in a hermetically enclosed machine requiring no shaft seals, and working at speeds independent of mechanical transmission and bearing elements.
