<p>PURPOSE:To provide regeneration even in the case where a deflective thin-film transistor(TFT) element has occurred by connecting a source electrode of the defective TFT element and a gate electrode to each other with a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A source electrode 7 of a thin-film transistor is connected to a picture element electrode 9 corresponding to the transistor while it is unitized with an insulating substrate where a counter electrode is formed. After a display panel is completed, a laser beam is radiated form the outside, and thereby the source electrode 7 of the defective TFT element and a gate electrode 3 are fused and connected to each other. Accordingly, the source electrode 7 of the defective TFT element is connected to the gate electrode 3, through which the defective TFT element is drivable in a black point on the basis of a signal being impressed on a gate line, whereas the defective TFT element cannot be regenerated completely.</p> |
