<p>PURPOSE: To provide a circuit which permits or rejects access of a packet to a transmission system part below an access control member, dependent upon the quantity of arriving packets. CONSTITUTION: In a packet transmission system consisting of a control word group, which consists of an identification code of a packet type such as virtual transmission channel or channel group through which a packet is sent, and an information word group, packets which are not sent to a downstream part T of the transmission system by access control members 2 and 3 are recorded by an error report device 4. This device 4 records a number vci of a types of packets, which are not sent and immediately sends an error report C4 at the time of excess of this number over a specific threshold.</p> |
