PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing method for a non-sintered positive electrode for an alkaline storage battery having a high utilization ratio with a reduced fluctuation width and having a stable performance. CONSTITUTION:By setting an average grain size of cobalt hydroxide to be less than 1/10 an average grain size of nickel hydroxide, the circumference of nickel hydroxide grains can be covered with cobalt hydroxide grains, and by setting a slurry viscosity of active material to be more than 2000cp, cobalt hydroxide secondarily condensed in the active material slurry can be separated to be primary grains. In this constitution, nickel hydroxide grains and cobalt hydroxide grains of a high conductivity can be dispersed uniformly in a electrode plate, thereby a high utilization ratio can be achieved stably. |
