<p>The procedure consists in conveying, in the immediate vicinity of the desired welding point between the workpieces (1, 4) made from one or more reflecting metals termed, or termed as a whole, "base metal", a filler metal (8) compatible with the base metal, the said filler metal (8) having a light-reflecting coefficient, a thermal conductivity and a melting point which are less than those of the base metal.
