PURPOSE: To extend the life of a printer head by providing a print element actuator in an array and shifting data position for the portion of the distance of one print element. CONSTITUTION: A driver circuit 32 generates an electric impulse with control lines 33a-33n, starts nozzles 28a-28n and 34a-34n and starts nozzle arrays 30a-30n. The electric lines 33a-33n starts the nozzles of the nozzle arrays in starting at an ON position. Therefore, the nozzle of a certain pattern is started by depending on the ON/OFF arrangement of the lines 33a-33n and 34a-34n at an optional and specified point of time and dots are radiated in a longitudinal pattern where the ON/OFF arrangement of the lines 33a-33n and 34a-34n are previously selected.
