PURPOSE:To provide a low-frequency transformer which displays a high saturation flux density, whose iron loss is small in a low frequency region and whose heat-resistant property is excellent. CONSTITUTION:The title low-frequency transformer has a feature that it is composed of a conductor and of an Fe-based magnetically soft alloy which has compositions expressed by the following formulas and whose saturation flux density is high: (Fe1-aCoa)bBxTyT'z (1); FebBxTyT'z (2); (Fe1--aQa)bBxTy (3); and FebBxTy (4) [where T represents Zr, Hf or the like, T' represents Cu or the like and Q represents Co, Ni or the like].
