<p>PURPOSE: To remove undesirable operation to a flash light tube with >=1 electronic characteristics of IGBT by generating a flash light emission instruction and a flash light end instruction independently of each other. CONSTITUTION: An electric circuit includes a storage capacitor 58 which can be charged by a proper power source, the flash light tube 64, and the insulating gate bipolar transistor(IGBT) 67. The IGBT 67 operates between a conduction state and a nonconduction state and is connected in the discharge path of the storage capacitor through the flash light tube 64. After the IGBT 67 operates from the nonconduction state to the conduction state, a signal responding to the flash light emission instruction is applied to the flash light tube to start emitting flash light. Then the flash light end instruction is applied to the IGBT 67 to finish the light emission. The flash light emission instruction and flash light end instruction are generated independently of each other.</p> |
