PURPOSE:To offer a superconductive wire having strong and constantly. stable performance to the application of hooping force (acting as tensil force in a conductor's longitudinal direction) and lateral compressive force generated by electromagnetic force even e.g. a coil is composed. CONSTITUTION:A housing material layer 2, surrounding a linear superconductive wire main body 1 with a given gap, is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the said main body 1. A filling solder layer 3 as a stress relaxing layer is formed between the superconductive wire main body 1 and the housing material layer 2. An interval between a plane, where a load in a vertical direction to the longitudinal direction of the superconductive wire main body 1 is applied, and the housing material layer is set at least one side of 0.25mm or more. Or the filling solder layer 3 is formed so that a space 6 can be left between the superconductive wire main body 1 on a plane side where the said load is mainly applied and the housing material layer.
