METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WORK-UNIT IDENTIFIER IN CHAIN-DISPERSION DATA TRANSACTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To provide the control method of a work unit identifier inside a chain distribution transaction system. CONSTITUTION: The chain distribution database transaction system is provided with plural processing nodes 300-1 to 300-6 which are logically connected so as to form a tree. Normally, the respective nodes automatically increases the present identifier at the time of completing the processings of the respective transactions and takes out the succeeding transaction identifier. But distribution databases inside first and second sub-trees caused by division are forced to be a coincident state by a fault condition which causes the division of the tree. The transaction identifiers are increased in the respective nodes of the sub-trees. The transaction work inside the first sub-tree is the one by the increased identifier. The second sub-tree is annulled. The distribution databases of the first and second sub-trees caused by the division in accordance with the condition which divides the tree without the fault are committed to be in the permanent state. The respective transaction identifiers of the node of the first sub-tree are increased.
