PURPOSE: To provide an image pickup unit and its method for creating the three-dimensional image of computer tomography (CT) image data (image data) specially. CONSTITUTION: A system consists of an image data memory B storing image data of a three-dimensional area, a means 32 for defining a polygon which defines the sub-section of the three-dimensional area, an image processing means 20 displaying the polygon in a two-dimensional display means C, a control means 50 controlling the image processing means 20 for rotating, scaling and translation-moving the polygon, an algorithm storage means 36 storing translation movement, scaling and a rotary algorithm, a display pixel defining means 52 defining the respective pixels of the two-dimensional display means C and an image data access means 30. The display pixel defining means 52 is connected to the control means 50 so as to permit respective pixel values to be rotated, executed scaling and translation-moved in accordance with the reverse of the algorithm in order to define the point corresponding to data of the image data memory B and a visual inspection direction. |
