PURPOSE: To obtain a preparation for treating inflammatory diseases, comprising a specific phenol and benzamide as active ingredients. CONSTITUTION: This preparation comprises formula I [R<1> and R<2> are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, a 1-6C alkoxy or a group of having II; R<3> and R<4> are each H or a 1-4C alkyl; (n) is 1-4; (m) is 0 or 1 (with the proviso that (m) and (n) are not 0 at the same time): R<5> and R<6> are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, a 3-8C cycloalkyl, a 2-8C alkenyl, (CH2 )q OR<7> or (CH2 )q R<7> R<8> ((q) is 1-6; R<7> and R<8> are each H or a 1-4C alkyl), etc.; or one of R<7> and R<8> is the group and the other is a group of formula III (m<a> , n<a> and R<1a> to R<4a> are shown for (m), (n) and R<1> to R<4> , respectively or form a group of formula IV to formula VII with a bonded nitrogen atom) (R<10> is H or a 1-4C alkyl), etc.] such as 4-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-2,6-bis(1,1dimethylethyl)phenol or N,N-dimethyl 3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxybenzamide as an active ingredient. |
