PURPOSE: To provide a system to facilitate maintenance and modification by employing patching or direct connection modular terminating parts and a panel receiving the modular terminating parts in a connection part between an equipment and a cable when the cable fabricated from twisted wires handles communication between data equipments in a building. CONSTITUTION: A standardized panel 10 has eight fitting holes 22A,..., 22H and one front panel 24. In the case where a building wiring constructed of twisted wires establishes communication between a terminal and a computer (not shown in Fig.) in a building, the panel 10 is provided in a connection part between the building wiring and the computer or terminal. The panel 10 is provided with a crimp modular jack 12 for terminating a building wiring 13, a crimp modular plug 14 for terminating a building wiring 15, a modular coupler 16, and a modular plug 18 for terminating a flat cable 20, and can be interfit to the fitting holes 22A,..., 22H.
