PURPOSE: To produce a full width raster input scanning or raster output scanning bar from a long extended extension array of miniaturized sub-units by composing the 1st and 2nd side terminal parts of a flat semiconductor wafer of holders, respectively extending to the outside rather than the 1st and 2nd side terminal parts. CONSTITUTION: A daughter board/heat sink 12 has 1st and 2nd side terminal parts 11 and 13, front end part 15 and width B equal to the distance between the 1st and 2nd side terminal parts 11 and 13. Width A of a semiconductor wafer 6 is wider than the width B of the daughter board/heat sink 12, and as a result, 1st and 2nd side terminal parts 5 and 7 of the semiconductor wafer 6 are extended to the outside, rather than the 1st and 2nd side terminal parts 11 and 13 of the daughter board/heat sink 12. By making the width B narrower than the width A, a large array bar can be produced, while using the same side system and the respective sub-units can be exchanged easily at the same time, as well.
