PURPOSE: To provide an aircraft towing tractor capable of controlling the number of times of the load peak values applied to a front undercarriage from the tractor which may exceed a prescribed value or the number of times of load changes without limiting the maximum tractive force applied by the tractor to the prescribed value and capable of keeping it as small as possible. CONSTITUTION: The accelerator pedal 11 of an aircraft towing tractor controls an internal combustion engine 1 via a regulator 13, and the regulator 13 limits the increasing acceleration of the output of the internal combustion engine 1 when the accelerator pedal 11 is operated. An increase of the tractive force is controlled depending on an increase of the engine speed and/or the acceleration of the towing tractor.
